A co-creation project on digital skill transmission in traditional crafts, supported by our technology, was exhibited at “Cybernetic being Life” at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai
From 23 July to 4 August 2025, results from a research and development project involving our technology were exhibited at “Cybernetic being Life”, held in the Future Life Zone of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai.
The exhibition presented results from “Development of Cybernetic Avatar Technologies and Social Infrastructure for Embodied Co-creation (Project Cybernetic being)”, a research and development project selected under Goal 1 of the Moonshot Research and Development Program of the Cabinet Office and the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST).
We take part in the project — whose vision is a society where anyone can freely extend and share abilities and experience — as a member of its industry-academia co-creation community. Our haptics work contributed as a foundational technology for sharing bodily sensation over networks, so that everyone can participate in society beyond the constraints of the body and of distance.
