Born in Kobe, Hyogo in 1988. After university he worked at Nomura Securities, CyberAgent and Salesforce Japan before becoming Representative Director of H.R.I in September 2020.

He grew revenue by more than 150% year on year for two consecutive years, and the company joined the Dirbato group through an M&A in July 2022.

In January 2023 he founded commissure with Arata Horie, where he serves as Representative Director and CEO.

Born in Fukushima in 1993. PhD in Engineering. At the Department of Advanced Interdisciplinary Studies, the University of Tokyo, he led research on haptic display grounded in an understanding of embodiment, as well as joint research with industry. He carried this work forward as a JSPS DC2 fellow and as principal investigator on JST ACT-X. He was appointed Project Assistant Professor at RCAST, the University of Tokyo, and in January 2023 founded commissure with Masaki Mizohashi, where he serves as Representative Director. Since April 2023 he has also been a Project Assistant Professor at Keio University Graduate School of Media Design, working on Moonshot research.

Joined Salesforce Japan in 2017. At en Japan he launched pasture (now freee freelance management), a freelance management tool built on his own experience of contract work; the business was later transferred to freee. He joined commissure as COO.

PhD in Engineering, Graduate School of Engineering, the University of Tokyo. After positions at the University of Electro-Communications and Keio University, he has held his current post since 2016. His interests lie in JIZAI body technology, human augmentation engineering and entertainment engineering. His awards include TIME magazine’s Coolest Invention of the Year and the MEXT Young Scientists’ Award. He also serves as co-representative of the Superhuman Sports Society and as a director of the Information Processing Society of Japan and of the Virtual Reality Society of Japan, among other roles.

Entered Science Stream I at the University of Tokyo in 2023, and spent two years learning 3D technology. He specialises in VR development in Unity and works across the breadth of 3D software, from modelling to compute shaders.

Advanced to the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, the University of Tokyo in 2025. He specialises in prototyping systems that span hardware and software. Under his own name he works as a technical artist, centred on media systems for live shows and events, and also handles visual and sound direction, hardware design and music production. Working from a position between engineers and performers, he designs experiences that start from live expression.
