Announcing the HaptoAI™ concept, putting haptic data to work for both people and robots

We are pleased to announce the HaptoAI™ concept, in which people and robots generate haptic data and put it to use for one another as “sensory assets”.

The concept positions our haptic generation AI, HaptoAI™, as a “Physical AI” that learns physical interaction in the real world, and aims to build a foundation on which people and robots share sensation.

This opens up new applications, such as transferring skills from people to robots and extending human experience with data robots have collected. Through touch — long difficult to digitise — we will continue to create new value by combining human skill with robotic capability.
